Ohhh, Roma!

You have won us over, hook, line and sinker. The flights were smooth and the jet lag is minimal. This is the view from our hotel room, Albergo Santa Chiara. They gave us an accommodation upgrade, a wonderful way to begin our stay in Rome. The concierge, Federica, was very helpful in getting us acclimated to life in Italy.

Trevi Fountain was one of our first stops. It was packed with tourists, but that made it more fun.

As we wandered, we found this place and had to partake in honor of Mallory and Megan:).

  1. Nice! Amelia said, "I want to GO that!" Do I see blue skies in those pictures?

  2. Yes, Linds. The first day was sunny! We have had rain every day since, but it's only slowed us down a bit. The text didn't post with the pictures, but we will hope for better connections in the future! We see little kids all around us and they remind us of Amelia and Caroline. Mom

  7. Hi friends, thanks for the comments. We are having some problems posting our entries with the mobile blogging tool, so all of the pics are showing up and then the text. It is ugly, but it works! We are in Siena and may never leave. It is a wonderful change of pace after being in Rome for several days. Whit, so glad you passed all your comps. Evan, sorry that the evil children made you sick. Lindsey, we keep seeing A and C in all the kids we meet on the trip! Jackie, tell Tim we were total hoosiers at a pizzareia in Rome, but everyone else ate with their hands, too. Jim and Liz, all of your advice has been so helpful. The trip is going very smoothly. Love to you all! Hope to post sooner or later!
